A weekend retreat (Friday teatime to lunch on the Sunday) in a stunning location. Othona is situated in untamed grounds overlooking the sea. A deserted beach lies just ten minutes walk away. Through a gentle combination of talks, silence, prayer and companionship, the retreat will invite the mind to enter the place it never actually leaves - the present moment - and discover the awesome mystery that awaits.

This is the central practice of contemplative prayer. It suggests that there is always only now and that this is the only place that God can be found.
