Simon Small is available by arrangement to give talks or lead seminars, retreats and quiet days.
Most of the events that Simon now leads are focused around an exploration of the ideas and practices that underpin "From the Bottom of the Pond".
He has also spoken to groups about the practice of individual spiritual companionship (also known as spiritual direction, spiritual counseling, being a soul friend, etc). He has worked professionally in this area for eight years, walking alongside many individuals.
He is also delighted to talk with people about his spiritual journey, which over the years has embraced the New Age/Alternative spiritualities, the great Eastern religions as well as traditional and non-traditional Christianity. He has in the past led many events of this kind for church groups wishing to understand the wider, but largely hidden spiritual search that is so prevalent in modern western society. It would also be of interest to anyone else seeking to understand our current spiritual culture.
Fees are by agreement, taking into account the circumstances of the organiser and the number of people likely to attend.
